Οι απολογίες των Ζωνιανών στο δικαστήριο
Για “ομερτά” έκανε λόγο από έδρας εφέτης στην πολύκροτη δίκη των Ζωνιανών. Η απολογία κάποιων εκ των βασικών κατηγορουμένων ενόχλησε τη δικαστή που με αυστηρό ύφος είπε: “Ωραίες οι κορώνες για τους άνανδρους αλλά εμένα δεν με πείθετε”. “Όσο ζω...
θα φωνάζω ότι είμαι αθώος.
Αυτοί που πυροβόλησαν είναι άνανδροι. Υπάρχει Θεός και θα πληρώσουν”, είχε υποστηρίξει νωρίτερα κατηγορούμενος. Ενδιαφέρουσα όμως ήταν και η απολογία ενός εκ των “πρωταγωνιστών” της υπόθεσης, ο οποίος ανέλαβε την ευθύνη για την κατοχή ναρκωτικών και την πώληση σφαιρών, αρνήθηκε όμως την συμμετοχή του στη φονική ενέδρα.
